north carolina & disneyland

Lots has been going on since Ive updated my blog.. which has been a while. So I'm gonna dig deep into my mommy brain to remember everything.. Tony & I have known for a while we don't want to be in Vegas much longer, so we've decided to start our search for a new place to live. We have just been picking pretty random places we've always wanted to go or that seem ideal for raising a family & we're going to check them all out until one seems perfect for us. In August we went to North Carolina....

 We had lots of fun in North Carolina & loved all the green, but it wasn't the place for us.

We went to Carrowinds amusement park which had a huge water park. We had so much fun! Warning to anyone who is planning on going there, skip the dinosaur exhibit... BORING! 

 We found the cutest park & made some friends there.

 A few days before North Carolina we met up with Tonys family in California to go to Disneyland. Im sad to say I dont think we will be going back for a while. Scarlett was a total monster! She does not do well with huge crowds of people. She takes after her dad because he hates big crowds. But she loved seeing her cousin Xave. She had so much fun with him! They were the cutest together!

The only ride she liked was the carosel. She was scared of every other ride. 



















 Our last night there, Tonys parents watched all the kids so we could all go enjoy Disneyland for a few hours. We had SO much fun! We went on the last ride at 11:59 & we were one of the last ones there. I loved it!

Fall is here. & we're excited! Today really felt like fall, it was pretty chilly out! Scarlett was in the halloween spirit this morning & used her witch fingers to eat her breakfast.

< --- This face! This girl was killing me today. I don't think i've ever laughed so hard. First she found the chocolate chips in the pantry. She was super sneaky about it though. I had no idea, she kept sneaking back in to get more, but then we cought her & this was her face.

Today felt like a baking kind of day, so we made our favorite chocolate chip pumpkin muffins. Scarlett was such a good little helper.

Bed time came & I forgot to bring Scarletts water up to bed.. so I told her to get in bed & mommy will be right back. I was expecting her to be playing or following behind me down the stairs, but this is what I came back to <3

Here are a few more things that had me cracking up today.

"Hey mom! it's a bug!"... STOMP! "got it" :) 

...She goes back & forth between calling me mommy & mom. Hearing a little babe say mom sounds so funny to me. 

She grabbed her purse & said byyyeeee! Blew lots of kisses.. I told her I was sad she was leaving... so in her sympathetic voice she said "sad?" & she gave me a kiss & then said "hug" & gave me a bunch of long hugs & a bunch of kisses.. but only on my cheek, because she's an adult, of course. 

I looked in her purse & she had her cell phone in there. Im not sure why but it made me cRaCk UP!

Scarlett is soo much fun & soooo full of life & spunk. But that also means a lot of energy & a dash of stubbornness. So some days Tony & I are worn out! The other day I went to a girlfriends baby shower & I left Scarlett home with daddy since it was around her nap time. I called Tony to check on them & he answered in a panic saying "I can't talk right now! She's a monster! I don't know how you do this! Gotta go!" Is it terrible that it was music to my ears to hear my husband say I don't know how you do this?! It makes me feel like a little superhero ha.

wonderful weekend

We had the most wonderful weekend. I havnt been grocery shopping this week, so we went out to dinner a lot .which i LOVE. Gained about 5 pounds .which i don't love. 

My sweet husband surprised us one day & made a floating lantern from Tangled. Mine & Scarletts favorite movie. I dont even care that it didnt float & that we all almost lit on fire, because it was amazing & romantic. 

Scarlett started saying "oh gosh!" & "not nice" to everything. Tony was trying to get her to take a nap.. for almost 2 hours.. the other day & the whole time she was telling him "NOT NICE!" Well little miss Scarlett, it is "not nice" that we have to spend 2 hours trying to get you to nap only to result in failure. No, she did not nap. 
...We still <3 you. 

by the way, its going to be 118 degrees this coming weekend. OH GOSH! :( 

summer fun

The other day we went to Skyzone, the huge trampoline place, with Scarletts' friends Samantha & Sebastian, that place is amazing! So much fun for kids & adults! We also went to a bounce house place which was also so much fun! Me & my girlfriend Kayly were the only moms there that were actually jumping in the bounce houses, those other moms don't know what they were missing out on. Also, Scarlett believes now, more than ever, that she is a dog. She now goes in the pantry to grab her & our dog Beasley a bone & lays down with him to chew them. When I try to give her a bite of food, she will place it on the floor & then eat it. She shakes her body all over when she is wet, like a dog shaking off. & she pants. 

Scarlett has become very stingy with her kisses lately :(

Summer is here, & Vegas is hot! I absolutely hate the heat here, but am soo happy we have a pool at our house. Scarlett is still a little iffy about the pool though, so we've been spending a lot of our time trying to do indoor activities. Lately we've been to the new childrens' museum, doing lots of crafts at home & having playdates.. inside! Im already counting down until fall.

been a while

..its been a while. so im gonna try to catch up on what we've been doing lately. We went to San Diego for Tony's birthday. We went to the Zoo & Sea World. If we had time we would have went to Disneyland again, but we only had a few days there, so I settled for a quick trip to Downtown Disney. I love vacations, especially with my two favorite people, Tony & Scarley. We also went with our friends Marisol, Ivan and their little babe Sienna. 

Sea World was lots of fun. We fell in love with the pet show that they have. It was the cutest little dog & cat show ever. Scarlett thinks every animal is a dog named Bease that says "WOOF"(our dogs names is Beasley) so obviously she loved it too.

On our last day we didnt have any plans so we decided to rent a boat which was super fun. It also helped my husband fill his "I want to own a boat" need for a little while. Then we drove to Downtown Disney, where Scarlett had the biggest meltdown/tantrum of her life.. but we still had fun.

 We thought it would be a fun cheesy idea to go on this VIP bike ride...(the seat said VIP ha) until we realized it was $40! Guess thats the price you have to pay to be VIP

Scarlett has just gotten more amazing every day. Im obsessed with this age. She's just so funny & sweet. She always says bless you if any one sneezes. The other day we were at the park & some guy sneezed all the way on the other side & she yelled "bless you!" I just died. She loves to sing. She tries to sing every song she hears. She loves getting dressed now, which is amazing because she used to hate it. She does these little poses when she gets dressed because she feels so pretty. I know this because she poses & twirls and says "pretty". She all of a sudden will let me actually change her diaper without having to hold her down like she's a mental patient. We also went to Scarletts first ever movie "The Croods" and she did amazing! I was really expecting to have to leave after 30 minutes, but she sat through the entire movie and didn't move once! Im so happy about it because I love going to the movies! I've been having so much fun with her, she's the best little friend I could ask for. <3
